Founded in 2016, Daniels Boatworks is a custom boatbuilding company dedicated to carrying forward the tradition of Carolina-style craftmanship while embracing modern design, engineering and performance.
While Daniels Boatworks was founded in 2016, our foundation is built on more than three decades of hands-on boat building experience. Owner Kurt Daniels began working in the industry at just 18 years old, learning his craft alongside some of the most respected builders in the sportfishing world. Those years of experience continue to shape every boat that we build today, influencing our commitment to quality, attention to detail, and proven offshore performance.
Every boat we build is tailored to each individual owner. We believe a custom sportfishing boat should be more than just a vessel---it should reflect the way you fish, travel and spend time on the water. That's why we take a hands-on approach throughout the entire process, working closely with each customer from initial concept to final delivery.
Our commitment to quality extends far beyond appearance. From hull construction and engineering to fit, finish, comfort and fishability, every detail is carefully considered to create a boat that performs as exceptionally offshore or on the tournament circuit as it looks running in the ocean or sitting at the dock.
To ensure that each of our projects are seen through with a proven foundation, we collaborate with well-known and respected designer Steve French of Applied Concepts. His extensive experience designing some of the sportfishing industry's most recognized boats compliments our commitment to craftsmanship and performance, helping bring each owner's vision to life.
